Flight delay
Hello Mister/Madam The originally booked and fully paid flight from Sofia to Stavanger with flight number 050792 on 23 Jun 2024y departed with a delay, causing me to miss a connecting flight. Therefor I reached my final destination with a delay more than three hours.
Due to delay at my destination I am entited to compensation under Artical 7 of Regulation (EC) 2611****. Thefore I request you to transfer the compensation amount of 400 to the following bank account:

Hello
Who do I contact ASAP via email in regards to my flight seating reservation issues? Austrian airlines online chat won't help me.
I also can't make phone calls on my phone.
I have booked/reserved/paid for my inbound travel seats but it's showing there isn't any booked or paid for.
I have payment receipt, email itinerary with seat numbers and a screenshot of confirmed seating.
Please get back to me ASAP.

I am extremely stressed, frustrated and unhappy about this situation. I'd like to put a complaint in and my issue to be resolved ASAP please.

Hey there how's it going? My name is Ryan Kelley and I was meant to be flying with you guys on Monday from Budapset to Vienna due to a medical emergency I infact have to rush home now to sort out that emergency and can therefore no longer get the flight sadly
I noticed that there was no way to cancel online and I cannot call either so was just wondering if there is a way for you to cancel it and if possible a refund of even just a portion of the costs would go a long way

Poor organization, poorly trained, indifferent staff not trying to help in the situation.
The plane took off with a delay of 2 hours and 15 minutes, because of this we were late for our connecting flight.
At the Vienna airport, airline employees told us that the company would not book a new ticket for us since we had 40 minutes to get from the plane to the next flight, we ran with my 65 years old mother but anyways we were late considering the queues, passport control, etc., By myself I found the hotline number, and they sent us tickets in 5 minutes. Why were the workers of Austrian Airlines at Vienna Airport unable to resolve this ticket issue and why they told us that company will not rebook our tickets ?
We sat at the airport all night until the next flight.
The next problem we had with luggage, out of 2 bags we received only one, we were told that the luggage would arrive on the next flight and they would deliver it at the hotel, which did not happen, after 2.5 days I called myself and sorted out the luggage issue , it turns out he lay at the Warsaw airport for 2.5 days and no one notified me until I started calling and investigate
If a problem arises, it is impossible to rely on the employees, the attitude is absolutely indifferent, they do not even try to solve the difficulties and issues that have arisen, which is what they are supposed to do according to their position.

Dear Austrian Airlines Customer Service, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Ali Ebrahimi, and I am writing regarding my reservation under the booking number K7J3V8.
My original flight was scheduled on August 3rd from Tehran to Berlin, and return on 25 July 2025 Berlin from Tehran but unfortunately, it was canceled by your airline, and I received a refund of 637.43. However, I was surprised to find that another reservation was made for me on August 10th without my consent, and this flight was also canceled by your airline.
On August 8th, an amount of 637.43 was deducted again from my account. Due to the inconvenience and lack of proper planning from your side, I had to purchase another ticket myself and have already traveled to Berlin.
Therefore, I kindly request that my flight be canceled and no further reservations be made on my behalf. I also request that the amount of 637.43 be refunded to my account at your earliest convenience.

Austrian airlines recommended booking my rental car in Vienna with their affiliate ET Car Hire / CarTrawler & Swiss
After I booked AND PAID!!! I waited and waited for confirmation, NOTHING HAPPENED!!
I EMAILED; I CALLED !! SO, I REQUESTED CANCELLATION AND REFUND!! AGAIN, NOTHING HAPPENED !! So, I booked with other company, got instant confirmation of booking and kept waiting for refund eventually I called my credit card company and requested follow up and cancellation of my payment.
Then one bloody day before my arrival to Vienna, ET Car Hire / CarTrawler & Swiss emailed confirmation !! I spent $$ to call them, emailed them and requested cancellation due to not confirming the rental!! again nothing happened!!
Then ten days later they refunded payment and kept $150 for "late cancellation!!?? THIS IS HOW THEY MAKE MONEY!!

Big delay. AC not working plane while parked.i missed 2 connections in Wien.
The electric stairs were defect once parked in Wien. The connection ticket for the Flight to Zurich was not issued so i could not check on the booked flight!
No response to the complaint and no contact details for the reimbursement of the taxi ticket. + positive feedback to the assistance team who booked the hotel.

I had to call Austrian airlines to get my seat assigned for a flight from the U.S. to Vienna. I wasn't on hold for long and the agent that answered was efficient and pleasant and I was able to get seats assigned without any problems.

I do not recommend this airline to anyone unless he wants to suffer and have a terrible flight

Preferred solution: I would like to have some respect in the first place and I want to get what I have ordered from your website offer, I feel that you are cheating and stealing in such cases, you should compensate or give bonuses I was hurt so much by what happened.

Lost things
Dear Mr or Miss,
Good afternoon, I am writing to you regarding the loss of a certain piece of luggage that occurred on one of two connecting flights operated by your company. Shanghai - Vienna (OS076) or Vienna - Belgrade (OS739).
Booking Code: 55VKA9/55W5GX/55W7JJ/55VBZZ
I had my luggage searched at the Shanghai airport and when I returned my things everything was in the suitcase. I don't know if the suitcase opened during loading on one of the flights, but when I landed in Belgrade, the purse that was also in the suitcase at baggage claim I saw that it was outside the suitcase, that is, it was placed on top of my suitcase.
I'm sending you the things that were lost in a separate document, more precisely on the minutes that were made at the Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade. Please check if the items are found anywhere.

User's recommendation: I would like to warn all future travelers to take care of their suitcases. They must be locked or wrapped in foil for greater security. My suitcase opened during the flight or one of the workers stole my things. There are dozens of things coming out of my suitcase and no one is responding to my problem. After this situation, I consider Austria airlines to be very unprofessional and uninterested.
Lost Luggage and ZERO Customer Service
After multiple delays, cancellations, and missed connecting flights, an 8-hour trip turned into a 30-hour trip. On top of this, Austrian Airlines lost our carry-on luggage.
Right before boarding, they took our carry-on luggage and insisted it needed to get checked. Now it's lost, and the customer service phone numbers don't work. The links for help posted on their Twitter and Instagram are dead links. The direct number we were given for lost luggage hasn't picked up in days.
This company does not care about its customers. And from what I've seen online, this company has a tendency to mysteriously lose a lot of valuable luggage.

User's recommendation: NEVER fly Austrian, even if it means waiting for a later or next day flight. It’s not worth the risk.
Problem with baggage

On flights OS 860 and OS 635 incorrect weight definition.
There is upgrade to Business Class and the weight should be according to the definition of Austrian Airlines. , one suitcase 32 kg and hand suitcase 8 kg.
For my wife and me mistakenly written only hand suitcase 8 kg.
Asking to correct , otherwise there could be problem at the airport reception desk.

Scammed by Austrian Airlines at Vienna airport
I booked a flight from Bangkok to Mykonos, with a transit in the Vienna airport.
Transit time was 45 minutes.
My flight landed 10 minutes early.
55 minutes is not enough time to get through passport control and security screening.
The airline STOLE 300 euros to book another flight.
It's criminal thievery.
They THREATENED to have ME arrested as THEY STOLE FROM ME.
They LIED repeatedly.
For example that I was the only person who missed the flight - 2 women had missed flights because of insufficieng transit time.
And that I "volunteered", whatever that meant.
I was robbed by scummy lying criminals.
Austrian Airlines is an organized crime theft organization.
Criminals plain and simple.
